Online Dating Does Work!
Now that I’ve been at it for a few months I must say my early impressions of online dating might have been a bit premature. Considering how hard it is for some of us more shy people to get a date with someone who really interests us, online dating sure fills the gaps and makes it real easy.
With a bit of work on your personal dating profile I have found the response rate increases as does the quality of person contacting you. I’ve had great luck at finding dates since really making an effort to squeeze the most out of the online dating services. Posting lots of pictures of yourself in normal situations will go a long way as well. Don’t post pictures of you with others of the opposite sex and most certainly don’t post party pics unless that’s what you want in return – someone who parties before anything else!
Why can I say with certainty that online dating does work? Well besides the sheer volume of dates I have been able to get with some very classy women and all the fun that comes with that, I’ve now been dating the same girl for a few months now. We are headed in the right direction and that feels great.
Being single has some great attributes, but after a while those start to wear a bit thin as well seek something a bit more to our heart’s liking. I highly recommend trying more than one online dating service if the first one you try doesn’t work out. Each has good points and bad points. I can recommend both Lavalife and eHarmony as both do what they promise – find you dates – and leave the rest up to you!
